Multi-day energy storage systems for small-to-medium businesses.

What problem are we solving?

We’re reducing the cost of clean energy and solving local power outages. Three key factors are causing these problems:

  1. Grid assets are aging. They were never designed to meet the increasing demand for clean energy sources such as wind and solar power.
  2. More load balancing is needed. This is to accommodate for the increasing power from intermittent renewable sources.
  3. Electricity distribution systems are failing. This is because severe weather events are rising.

These are making bottlenecks and choke points in the energy delivery system worse, which increases energy costs and the increase risk of local power outages.

How are we solving this?

One way is to increase renewable energy storage capacity at businesses. As more energy storage assets are installed, we will achieve the density and scale necessary to do three things:

  1. Reduce the local grid network's peak load and optimize individual circuit loading. This will also reduce energy costs by allowing utilities to delay capital upgrades and make regional nodes more reliable.
  2. Reduce the peak energy needs for neighborhoods with congested supply. This will further reduce energy costs.
  3. Improve power quality and protect grid-connected devices from disturbances like voltage spikes. This will increase the lifespan of appliances and machinery for businesses, further driving down the total return on system investment.

What are we making?

We’re on a mission to create an energy system that benefits all of humanity.
